World Environmental Education Day and Course on Ecoliteracy

On World´s Environmental Education Day, we call all UC masters (2nd cycle), finalists of 1 cycle and mobility students of any field to sign up for our Ecoliteracy – Literacy for Sustainability and the Environment intensive course (2nd semester).

This course´s core mission is to contribute to greater environmental literacy among the student community. It´s an interdisciplinary curricular unit, offered by the Department of Life Sciences but open to all areas of the academic community, promoting the debate of ideas, cooperation among different knowledge areas and capacitating the students with fundamental scientific information towards an active environmental role and the construction of a more sustainable future.

It is a modular and intensive course (2 weeks), in English and with the participation of lecturers from different UC departments as well as external guests.

2nd cycle students or 1st cycle finalists as well as mobility students can still register for this year’s edition!
